Hansgrohe uses an “in-house” process in their German factories to produce a Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) to bring colour to your bathroom tapware and showers. The unique value from Hansgrohe is the fact they are able to apply it to their showers, mixers, hoses, accessories and kitchen mixers. The versatility of this colour and the fact it is suitable for use in outdoor kitchens along with showers by the pool or the sea side is a differentiator. What is PVD:

Physical Vapor Deposition is an electroplating technology that uses a galvanically generated chrome surface consisting of circon. The coating process then mixes nitrogen with an electric arc going up and down the target product. From here the heat building a circon-nitrite is developed which is extremely tough and more scratch resistance than galvanic surfaces.

What Colours are available:

All colours are available with either a polished or brushed finish which include Nickel, Brass, Red Gold (Rose Gold), Gold, Bronze, Black Chrome plus a Stainless Steel Optic.
