For many years, matte black has been completed using powdercoat or electroplated processes to product a matt black finished bathroom product. Over time, people were asking if PVD technology had the ability to create matt black because this material was tougher, more scratch-resistant and left less finger prints. Unfortunately, this was unable to be done. However, AXOR due to their precision engineering, AXOR have been able to obtain a new finish. The new, matte, deep black PVD finish. Exclusively for AXOR MyEdition: The even surface structure offers a sensuous experience and creates a fine radiance. Due to its special color composition, Satin Black is darker than the AXOR FinishPlus surface Polished Black Chrome. More importantly, this can be combined with a number of different AXOR MyEdition plates which add the individuality to a powder or main bathroom.
