The Seed Story: Designed by renowned Italian architect Prospero Rasulo, the Seed collection explores the concept of a seed’s growth into form.

• Hand-Finished in Italy: Each basin is crafted by Valdama, Italy’s specialist in fine ceramic engineering.

• The “Zero-Edge” Aesthetic: The Seed is famous for its exceptionally thin rim, offering a delicate look that is surprisingly durable thanks to high-fired premium ceramic.

• Height Perfection: At 130mm high, it is the “Goldilocks” height—tall enough to prevent splash-back, but low enough to maintain a sleek, bench-mount profile.

More than just a white basin. While Gloss White is the classic, the Seed Round 450 is the centerpiece of the Parisi “Colours of Italy” collection.

• The Classics: Gloss White, Matt White, Gloss Black, Matt Black.

• The Earth Tones: Zolfo (Sulphur), Nuvola (Cloud), Tempesta (Storm).

Installation Technicals:

• Bench Space: Requires a minimum bench depth of 500mm for a comfortable centered fit.

• Waste Requirement: This basin has No Overflow. It requires a 32mm Universal Plug & Waste (we recommend the matching Parisi/Valdama Ceramic Top Waste for a seamless look).

• Tapware Pairing: Best paired with a Tall Vessel Mixer or a Wall-Mounted Basin Set to complement the 130mm height.

• Q: Is the edge too thin? Will it chip?

  • A: While the edge looks delicate, it is made from high-density Italian ceramic fired at extreme temperatures. It is designed for daily use, though like all fine ceramic, impact with heavy glass or metal should be avoided.

• Q: Does it come with the waste/plug?

  • A: No, the plug and waste are sold separately. For the best aesthetic, we recommend the Parisi Ceramic Top Clic-Clac Waste which matches the basin’s finish exactly.

• Q: How do I clean the Matte finishes?

  • A: Matte ceramic is non-porous and easy to clean. We recommend a mild soapy solution and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive scourers which can burnish the matte surface over time.
