Returns OnlineWhen can you return or exchange a product purchased online?Spare Parts – If your item has not been unboxed and packaging remains intact, we are able to return the item for a credit if notified within 30 days from delivery date. You will be refunded the full amount of the product minus the original shipping costDamaged ProductIf you notice a product has been delivered to you in a damaged condition, you must report it to our customer service team on 02 95504628, within 48 hours from the date of delivery. Our team will work with you to get photos emailed to inspect the damage. We cannot accept damage claims after this 48-hour period as we cannot determine when or how the damage occurred. We are not able to accept returns of any kind once you have attempted to install or use the product.Faulty Products:It is important that your trades inspect goods before installation. Goods that are damaged during or post installation are not the responsibility of Sydney Tap & Bathroomware. Please notify us within 48 hours of your receival of the product so that we can investigate this and come to a clear resolution for you.Made the wrong choice or want to exchange?Goods that have not been shipped:If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order the return fee will not apply as we understand things do occur and sometimes things are wrong.Goods that have been delivered:If your item has not been unboxed and packaging remains intact, we are able to return the item for a credit if notified within 14 days from delivery date. Please note this does not include products that have been ordered specifically in for your order or are deemed indent items by our suppliers. These indent items (items ordered in that are not part of companies core ranges) or specially ordered in products will have this information provided on the actual product page to ensure you understand this prior to purchasing this. Note, this isn’t applicable for products purchased in the spare parts section as these are all stocked items which we are happy to accept returns for. A full refund minus the original shipping cost and a shipping return fee to cover the cost of the return will be calculated and confirmed with you prior to returning authorization for indent and specially ordered products.What are the shipping fees?The shipping return fees are as follows:Tapware, showers and accessories – A return fee of $30 or the delivery amount, if greater than this, will apply for specially ordered or indent items. We require images prior to accepting the return of these products to ensure they are in a re-sellable condition.Toilets, basins, kitchen and laundry sinks and large items – A return fee of $90 or the delivery amount, if greater than this, will apply. Due to the breakable nature of these items, they must be in original packaging including delivery skid or pallet. We require images prior to accepting the return of these productsBaths – A return fee of $250 or the delivery amount, if greater than this, will apply. Due to the size and risk of damage, our drivers cannot pick up a bath unless it is in the original packaging, skid and wrapping. We require images prior to accepting the return of these products or picking them up for a fee.What goods can’t be returned?Due to the nature and custom aspect of mirrors, vanities and tallboys, we can’t accept returns of these products once they have been received by the customer. We also can’t accept returns for special coloured items or custom made products specifically ordered in for you. Don’t worry though, you’ll be notified prior to accepting the delivery that this is non-returnable via email from our team.Customised, Non Stocked or Speciality Manufactured Products can’t be returned but you will be notified before you purchase are non-returnable item with a confirmation email from our team.Goods and packaging must be in the original condition. We cannot accept goods that do not have their original packaging or the packaging is damaged which includes the delivery skid or pallet.To avoid return fees you can also drop the goods off to our Peakhurst warehouse. Only the original shipping cost will still be deducted from the refund amount in this case.Please note, we don’t offer a storage solution and once the order is complete, we will ship this out to the nominated address.Don’t forget your rightsUnder the Law, these Consumer Guarantees cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of “acceptable quality” and the failure does not amount to a major failure.Consumer Guarantees have no set time limit but generally last for an amount of time that is reasonable to expect given factors including the cost and quality of the product or any representations made.Our returns and exchange policy works in accordance with the AustralianConsumer Laws and as the customer you always have rights that we respect. We will always try to resolve the issue with the fairest solution possible for both parties.
