We have removed the “Ulia” branding to focus exclusively on the core DADOquartz® identity. Unlike many “stone” baths that use a thin Gel-Coat (a painted-on surface over a resin core), the Acanthus is a Solid Cast product.

• Repairable for Life: Because it is solid the whole way through, minor scratches or scuffs from years of use can simply be buffed out to original condition.

• Superior Insulation: DADOquartz® absorbs and retains heat like natural stone, keeping your bath water hot for significantly longer than acrylic or cast iron.

The Acanthus (SBM050) is designed for those who want a true “Grand” bath. At 1800mm, it provides an expansive internal area that accommodates taller bathers without compromise.

  • A: At 100kg empty, it is a substantial bath. While most modern Australian bathrooms can support this weight, we recommend consulting with your builder or structural engineer if you are installing it on a second-story timber floor.

• Q: Does it come with an overflow?

  • A: The Acanthus features an integrated internal overflow system, ensuring a sleek, minimalist look without the need for external plumbing pipes.

• Q: How do I maintain the Matte finish?

  • A: DADOquartz is incredibly durable. Simply use mild soap and water. For any stubborn marks, a light rub with a fine scouring pad will restore the matte surface perfectly.
