Wilco Mid Height Cistern Outlet Valve

Is your apartment toilet leaking? If you live in a modern apartment block in Wentworth Point, Mascot, Kellyville, or Ryde, your toilet likely uses a Wilco in-wall system. Check the bottom right-hand corner of your flush plate; if it says “Wilco,” this is the brand you need.

Important: Do not confuse this with the taller Wilco-B01.

The Mid-Height (This Part): Look at the white and yellow “ears” (toggles) at the top. On the mid-height version, the gap between these toggles and the top of the valve body is very small.

The B01 (Taller Version): There is a distinct white vertical gap visible underneath the toggle clips.

Genuine Wilco Replacement Valve Wilco systems were the primary choice for several major developers across Sydney’s high-density suburbs over the last 15 years. If your toilet is “ghost flushing” or the buttons feel sticky, the outlet valve mechanism has likely reached its end-of-life.

How to identify the “Mid-Height” model: Apart from the overall height, the most reliable way to identify this valve is by looking at the toggle attachment points. On this mid-height version, the yellow/white ears sit almost flush against the cylindrical top of the valve. If you see a significant “neck” or gap below the ears, you likely need the Wilco-B01 Tall Valve.

Q: My flush plate says Wilco, will this fit?
A: Wilco makes three main valves. This Mid-Height version is the most common in Sydney apartments. Compare the “ear” toggles at the top of your current valve to our product photos to ensure the gap height matches.

Q: I live in Mascot; is this the valve my building uses?
A: Very likely. Many developments in Mascot, Ryde, and Wentworth Point installed Wilco in-wall cisterns. If your buttons are chrome circles and the plate says Wilco, this is the first part to check.

Q: Why does the toilet keep running?
A: If the water is constantly trickling into the bowl, the bottom seal on this valve has likely perished. While you can replace the washer, replacing the entire valve is recommended for Wilco units of this age to ensure the middle rubber tube and toggles are also fresh.
