If your Valsir Inox push plate is sticking, the button isn’t returning to its original position, or the chrome cap has fallen off, this genuine replacement button is the solution. This is the Full Flush button, which is the larger button located on the left-hand side as you face the push plate.

Valsir has improved the internal design of these buttons for better longevity:

• Secure Fit: If your old button cap fell off, you likely saw a round insert. The new connection between the cap and the canister is now square, providing a much more secure and durable fit.

• Material: The button is now crafted from high-quality ABS plastic rather than metal, which prevents corrosion and ensures a smoother, “non-stick” action over years of use.

• Complete Assembly: This part comes as a complete unit including the button cap and the rear canister. Please note that the canister cannot be purchased separately.

Expert Troubleshooting: Is your button actually broken?

Before ordering, we recommend this simple test to ensure the button is at fault and not the internal valve:

1. Remove the push plate and locate the back of the button where it connects to the blue/white pneumatic hose.

2. Place your finger on the back of the canister and try to depress the button.

3. If the button is hard to push or won’t budge: The canister is working fine; the issue is likely the pneumatic mechanism on the outlet valve inside the cistern.

4. If the button pushes in easily but doesn’t trigger the flush or feels “empty”: The button assembly is faulty and needs replacement.

Installation Guide

Replacing the button is a simple process that does not require a plumber:

1. Remove the Plate: Look at the side edge of the push plate for a small gap. Insert a small flat-head screwdriver and gently leverage the plate away from the wall.

2. Disassemble: Undo the large plastic nut on the back of the plate that holds the button in place.

3. Swap: Pull the two halves of the button apart, remove the old unit, and slide the new replacement in. Tighten the nut and snap the plate back onto the wall frame.
